Bronze Hasmonean coin of Alexander Jannaeus (103-76 B.C.)

On one side, this coin has the double cornucopia design for prosperity. This ancient symbol was taken from these coins and is used today on the 2 NIS coin.

On the other side there is a paleo-Hebrew inscription reading, “Yonatan, the high priest, and council of the Jews.” This Indicates the minting authorities.

Comes with a certificate of authenticity and all required documents for export approval.
