Simon Bar Kokhba year 1 of the Second Jewish Revolt.

The name Kokhba in Hebrew means ‘star’. Simon Bar Kokhba was received by many of the Jews as the Messiah fulfilling the prophecy of Numbers 24:17.

This large rare bronze coin is in excellent condition and measures 2.3 cm in diameter.

What makes this coin so rare are it’s clear letters stating ‘Simon Bar Kochba Prince of Israel’

Discovered on archaeological excavations in Jerusalem.
