Bronze Titus “Judea Capta” coin (39-81 A.D.)
This larger bronze coin was used to commemorate Titus’ victory over the Jews in the First Jewish Revolt (66-73 A.D.), and contains the inscription, “Judea Capta,” meaning, “captivity of Judea.”
