Islamic oil lamp – (Abbasid Caliphate) Decorated with palm tree.

Antiquity discovered in the Akko region.

Momentous events took place with the Muslim conquest of the region in the seventh century A.D. This marked the beginning of a historical-cultural process. That led to the profound changes in Israel and it’s material culture. These events did not leave an immediate impression on the style of small artifacts. The craftsmen continued to create in accordance with tradition.
