Beautiful lamp with black burn color on the spout.
This lamp was extremely simple and practical, lacking “slip” and bearing little ornamentation.
The lamps of this period were made this way: the body was thrown on the potters wheel with a single hand movement. Nozzles were made separately and attached to the body then fired.
Roman empire was in Jerusalem up to third century.
