Description

Authentic Herodian cooking pot with handles – from 63 B.C – 30 A.D.

Used in daily household during the time of Jesus.

Holy Land Pottery at the time of the Second Temple.

A large Herodian yellow pottery cooking vessel with a squat body, wide mouth and two small handles. One side of the shoulder is decorated with a pair of broad diagonal painted lines.

Possibly as a way of identifying this from the many other similar vessels. This would have been set to cook in a communal oven.

This type of Herodian cooking put was presented to American president of USA Donald Trump.

This Herodian cooking pot is a great investment.

But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. (Isaiah 64:8)
