Iron Age black juglet (1200-925 B.C.) which was probably used for medicine.

This piece is in very good condition and is very distinctive of the Iron Age in Judea.  This juglet was most likely used for medicine or perfume.

Height: 4″ inches.
Width: 2″ inches.

A great, unique piece from the first Temple period of King David and King Solomon!

Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something on the wheel. But the vessel that he was making of clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he remade it into another vessel, as it pleased the potter to make. (Jeremiah 18:3-4)
