Late Bronze medicine jug Biblical pottery.

This is an excellent piece which was imported from Cyprus during the late bronze period, and was found in Israel.  This type of vessel is called a bilbil, and was used to store medicine. The shape of this piece has led some scholars to believe that it was used for opium, although this is still debated.

Authentic Late Bronze Age Clay ‘Bilbil’ medicine jug.

This is an excellent piece which was imported from Cyprus during the Late Bronze period, and was found in Israel.

This type of vessel is called a bilbil, and was used to store medicine.
