Ancient oil dipper juglet from the Middle Bronze period – the biblical time of Patriarchs.
This type of ancient jar was used by Israelites as a vessel for oil in the home mainly – found next to large storage jars pithoi.
The condition of this vessel is very preserved through being stored in an alcove of the dwelling, discovered during the archaeological excavations.
