Description

Middle Bronze flat base small storage jug

Ancient pottery before the wheel was made had a flat base and was used for storing goods. Covering the rim was a piece of leather and tied to the two handles.

Middle bronze I 2000 – 2300 B.C pottery has its own unique design and characters.

Vessels like this, with a flat base and two small handles, are not found in other periods.
