Authentic Herodian Period oil Filler (40 B.C – 75 A.D.)

Pottery used in the Second Temple period made by the Herodian design is light reddish to yellow color.

In Jesus’ time Jewish people had their own style and clay. The style have used is what helps us to recognize Jewish archeological sites all over the Israel. We find the same type of clay in Jewish villages.

A very nice unique piece of ancient pottery!
