Byzantine Bronze Early Christian Bread Seal.

Bronze Byzantine Period (4th-7th Century A.D.) stamp used for bread.

Ancient Greek Inscription.

Formed in the shape of a foot out of bronze. This unique bread seal was probably used by early Christian missionaries to mark the loaves of the food aid they were distributing.

A good find from early Christianity!
