First Temple Period Antique Clay Oil Lamp Iron Age II.

This beautiful oil lamp was found near Bethlehem where King David grew up in a village still named Bassa as the house of Jesse.

It’s the collection and investment of our family with all the needed documents from the Israeli Antiquities Authorities.

According to the Bible, Jesse was the son of Obed and the grandson of Ruth and of Boaz. He lived in the south Bethlehem, in Judah, and was of the Tribe of Judah, he was a farmer, breeder and owner of sheep.
