Iron Age honey jug with stripes (1200-925 B.C.) – Biblical antiquity piece for Bible scholars.
This style of Jug from the Iron Age was used for some type of valuable liquid, such as perfume, oil, or medicine because of the small opening to restrict the amount poured. The style is known as a “honey jug” style.

Used during the period of the Israelite monarchy, during the time of Kings David and Solomon.
