Description
Iron Age juglet with red terracotta – Biblical antiquity piece for Bible scholars
This artifact, Iron Age Terracotta Juglet, embodies domestic iconography from the Israelite monarchy era. It hails from the First Temple Period, crafted in red clay terracotta with careful shaping. Found in Jerusalem, the piece remains in very good condition, height 4.2 inches, and includes a certificate of authenticity.
Presented with a presentation stand, it comes from a licensed Israeli dealer and ships directly from Jerusalem. Due to its small opening, scholars consider its primary use to store valuable liquids such as oils or perfumes.
This example illuminates everyday life during King David and King Solomon, up to the Temple’s destruction, and reflects careful collection histories. All pieces meet Israeli export approval and IAA support.
