Description
Ancient Roman period weapon lead sling bullet.
Size: 2″ inches long.
Sling bullet is a famous weapon in the first century, generally lead slingshots went out of fashion during the 1st century AD. Among the soldiers trained for this weapon were archers that used them in conjunction with the bow.
They are in excavated condition and some may require a light clean.
“Should anyone rise up to pursue you and to seek your life, then the life of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of the living with the LORD your God; but the lives of your enemies He will sling out as from the hollow of a sling. (1 Samuel 25:29)
