During the Iron age I 1200 BC, this simple weapon would be tied to a wooden shaft and was common to the inhabitants of Israel.
It is known that King David was one the bravest warriors in the Old Testament battles of the Israelites.
The fields of these battles of King David, such as south of Jerusalem and north of Bethlehem place named the house of Jessie is where this type of arrowhead are discovered. This type arrowhead was found in Jerusalem and unfolds the bible verses of the books of 2 Samuel.
When he taunted Israel, Jonathan son of Shimeah, David’s brother, killed him. These four were descendants of Rapha in Gath, and they fell at the hands of David and his men.(2 Samuel 20:22.)
